Three Nights in Amsterdam: What We Ate

A short post on what we ate during our time in Amsterdam. Next time I go I want to try something new and go to some of Amsterdam hot stops.

You can see what we did whilst in Amsterdam here.

 Thursday 1st October

After our nap we headed to the restaurant for dinner.

We was give some bread rolls, a delicious garlic butter and a salad bowl while we waited for our food.

Leah had the chicken wings, a side of fries and rum & lemonade. I had chicken breasts with a pepper sauce and it came with fries which was €15.50 plus I had a Pepsi & rum. I enjoyed the meal but I wish I had gone for the hot and spicy sauce. The pepper sauce was slightly sickening due to it being creamy.

Friday 2nd October

After breakfast we spent some time in the gym and pool. Before getting ready and heading out.

We ate at a restaurant and bar called Dakota’s Restaurant and Bar. I had some chicken bites for my starter and a burger with a side of fries for the main.

Saturday 3rd October

Started the day off with a buffet breakfast at the hotel, had a bit of smoked salmon, a croissant, a cup of tea, a yogurt and a 2 cheese rolls. The plan for Saturday was to go to Amsterdam dungeons, Madame Tussaud’s and possibly find a cafe/coffee shop.

You Should Know: If you stay in a hotel you can book in for breakfast if you want otherwise you’ll have to pay on the day, or most hotels offer bed and breakfast included In your stay.
